Digestive Essentials
How do I take Digestive Essentials?
Enjoy 1-2 chewables with your biggest meal.
We recommend
taking no more than two chewables in one sitting or on an empty
stomach While there is no indication that taking more chewables
poses any safety or health risk, we recommend not exceeding a
maximum amount of 8 chewables per day.
When should I start to feel something?
Digestive Essentials’ benefits kick in at the first meal thanks to
our digestive enzymes, and probiotics provide long-term benefits
over weeks to months. Our digestive enzymes & our herbal blend
immediately improve nutrient breakdown from many of the foods you
eat (i.e. more bang for your buck from your meals), and also can
help you enjoy a slice of pizza or a plate of fibrous veggies
without developing bloating or gas that makes you run to the
bathroom.
That being said, don't panic if you don't feel
a difference in the first few weeks. Many of rmdy's ingredients,
primarily the probiotics, are aimed at improving your long-term
digestive health. Your internal ecosystem could be growing stronger
and more resilient every day and you wouldn't even know!
Does Digestive Essentials replace my probiotics?
Digestive Essentials can absolutely be taken alongside, or as a
replacement for other probiotics. If you’re already taking
probiotics we recommend comparing doses and strains as it’s possible
that Digestive Essentials could even complement your current
probiotic.

How do I store Digestive Essentials?
Keep your jar in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Cabinets, pantries, and counters are great! To preserve the probiotics, we recommend keeping your Digestive Essentials in the original jar they came in. Leave it in a place that reminds you to take your Digestive Essentials each day to stay on track.
Do the probiotics in Digestive Essentials survive stomach acid?
Yes, they do! Our manufacturer has conducted several studies, showing that the pre+probiotics in our Digestive Essentials are clinically proven to survive passage through the stomach and grow/thrive in the small intestine. One particular study found that our all-star probiotic, DE111® Bacillus subtilis grows in the small intestines within hours after consumption!
Are there any side effects to Digestive Essentials?
As with any new diet, product, or change, your body may experience a
temporary acclimation period. In the first 3-5 days, you may feel
some gastrointestinal discomfort, mild nausea, or changes in your
stool. This is very normal.
An immediate physiological reaction is a sign that the probiotics
and digestive enzymes in Digestive Essentials are viable as they
move through your GI system. Any discomfort should subside within
the first one to two weeks.
Because all bodies have their own responses, we highly encourage and
recommend that all customers go over their supplements and any
effects they experience with their doctor(s).
If you experience negative side effects, our recommendation is to
discontinue use of the products and consult a healthcare
professional if the symptoms continue. If you do experience any

Can I take Digestive Essentials if I’m pregnant or breast feeding?
There’s currently no evidence to suggest that Digestive Essentials is unsafe to take during pregnancy. However, we always suggest checking with your primary care physician first.
Can my kids take Digestive Essentials?
Digestive Essentials was designed for adults but many of our users
share chewables with their kids who love it and report benefits. In
fact, the probiotics in Digestive Essentials have been clinically
proven to promote a healthy microbiome and digestion in young
children.
We typically recommend 8 as the minimum age to take rmdy. If you
have any doubts or concerns we recommend checking with your primary
care physician first.
Why did you include stevia?
Great question! We wanted to bring joy and ease to taking care of your health, hence our delicious chewable format. We explored countless options to give our chewables the taste our users adore and turned to stevia as it’s a delicious natural sweetener, not made synthetically in a lab, and won’t raise your blood sugars like regular sugar can.
Can I take Digestive Essentials if I have IBS?
Yes! Digestive Essentials was designed to prevent bloating and stomach discomfort. Many of our customers suffer from IBS and report benefits in the form of symptom relief.
Does Digestive Essentials help with constipation and diarrhea?
Yes! Digestive Essentials is clinically proven to support regularity and help protect against occasional constipation or diarrhea.
Is Digestive Essentials FDA approved?
By law, the FDA does not approve dietary supplements. However, at rmdy, our products are manufactured in accordance to the FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), which help ensure quality and safety.
Can I take Digestive Essentials with other supplements or with prescribed medication?

Does Digestive Essentials help with lactose intolerance?
Yes! One of the digestive enzymes in Digestive Essentials, lactase, is specialized in the breakdown and digestion of lactose - a milk sugar present in dairy products. Because lactose has been shown to be so difficult to digest, lactase supplementation shows tremendous potential to help improve digestion as a whole, particularly following the consumption of milk sugar as present in milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, ice cream and other foods. Two of our chewables contain the same dose of lactase as certain varieties of Lactaid and some customers have reported that Digestive Essentials are helpful in regards to lactose intolerance.

Testing & studies
Have you done clinical research?
Yes! We partned with a third-party organization to conduct a double-blind, placebo-controlled study for our Digestive Essentials. Our study found that when compared to the placebo, 83% of participants reported feeling less bloated, and 92% of participants reported experiencing less post-meal discomfort. Do you do any additional testing on your products?
Prior to manufacturing, each ingredient included in our products undergoes identity testing to confirm the accuracy for attributes such as color, texture, consistency, and quality. Each batch of manufactured product undergoes specification testing (verifies probiotic count, ingredient amounts, color, odor, texture, etc.) , so we can make sure that what's on the label is in the capsules & chewables.
